Hold the Dark is Skarsgård’s second Netflix film this year (having previously starred in Duncan Jones’ beautiful mess Mute), and his work here is much more suited to his ability as an actor. I felt he was severely miscast in Mute , which took all of the charm and presence out of an actor that has so much charm and presence.
